Copies to be sent to Registrar
(1)
Every Kathi and Naib Kathi shall within one week of the date of registration of a marriage, divorce or revocation of divorce send a copy of the certificate of marriage, divorce or revocation of divorce, as the case may be, to the Registrar.
(2)
Where the divorce or revocation of divorce dealt with in a certificate of divorce or a certificate of revocation of divorce relates to a marriage registered in Singapore the Registrar shall cause an endorsement of the divorce and of the revocation of divorce to be entered on the certificate of marriage kept in the General Register of Marriages.
(3)
Where the revocation of divorce dealt with in a certificate of revocation of divorce relates to a divorce registered in Singapore the Registrar shall cause an endorsement of the revocation of divorce to be entered on the certificate of divorce kept in the General Register of Divorces.
