Clause 10

The whole of Chapter IV of the Courts of Judicature Act, 1964 (M. Act 7 of 1964), relating to appeals to the President of the Republic of Singapore is hereby repealed.

Nothing in this Act shall affect the validity of any proceedings instituted or continued prior to the date of the coming into operation of this Act in the Appellate Court in Singapore by virtue of any of the provisions contained in those sections coming under Chapter IV of the Courts of Judicature Act, 1964, or of Article 131 of the Constitution of Malaysia and any such proceedings may be amended as may appear to be necessary or proper in order to bring it into conformity with the provisions of this Act.
