Undischarged bankrupts acting as directors
(1)
Every person who being an undischarged bankrupt acts as director of, or directly or indirectly takes part in or is concerned in the management of, any corporation except with the leave of the Court shall be guilty of an offence under this Act and shall be liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars or both such imprisonment and fine.[U.K.s. 187.][Aust. s. 117.]

The Court shall not give leave under this section unless notice of intention to apply therefor has been served on the Minister and on the Official Receiver and the Minister and the Official Receiver or either of them may be represented at the hearing of and may oppose the granting of the application.
