Clause 157

Inspection of minute books

(1)

The books containing the minutes of proceedings of any general meeting shall be kept by the company at the registered office or the principal place of business in Singapore of the company, and shall be open to the inspection of any member without charge.[U.K.s. 146.][Aust. s. 149.]

(2)

Any member shall be entitled to be furnished within fourteen days after he has made a request in writing in that behalf to the company with a copy of any minutes specified in subsection (1) of this section at a charge not exceeding one dollar for every hundred words thereof.

(3)

If any copy required under this section is not so furnished the company and every officer of the company who is in default shall be guilty of an offence under this Act and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars and also to a default penalty.
