Notice of appointment and address of liquidator
(1)
A liquidator shall within fourteen days after his appointment lodge with the Registrar and with the Official Receiver notice in the prescribed form of his appointment and of the situation of his office and in the event of any change in the situation of his office shall within fourteen days after the change lodge with the Registrar and with the Official Receiver notice in the prescribed form of the change.[U.K.s. 305.][Aust. s. 280.]
(2)
Service made by leaving any document at or sending it by post addressed to the address of the office of the liquidator given in any such notice lodged with the Registrar shall be deemed to be good service upon the liquidator and upon the company.
(3)
A liquidator shall within fourteen days after his resignation or removal from office lodge with the Registrar and with the Official Receiver notice thereof in the prescribed form.
(4)
If a liquidator fails to comply with any of the provisions of this section he shall be guilty of an offence under this Act and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty dollars and also to a default penalty.
