Clause 349

If default is made by any foreign company in complying with any provision of this Division other than a provision in which a penalty or punishment is expressly mentioned the company and every officer of the company who is in default and every agent of the company who knowingly and wilfully authorizes or permits the default shall be guilty of an offence under this Act and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty dollars and also to a default penalty.
