Clause 352

Any person summoned for examination under Part IX or under section 249 or 250 may at his own cost employ a qualified legal practitioner who shall be at liberty to put to him such questions as the inspector, Court or District Judge deems just for the purpose of enabling him to explain or qualify any answers given by him.
