Clause 374

Whenever it appears to the Minister that provisions corresponding to the provisions of this Part have been enacted by the Malaysian Parliament and that such provisions are about to be brought into operation the Minister may by notification in the Gazette declare that with effect from a day specified in such notification this Part shall come into operation. Such day shall be the day on which the corresponding provisions of the law of Malaysia are to come into operation in relation to Singapore or as near thereto as practicable.
