Clause 94
Penalty for contravention of Division, etc.
(1)
Any person who —
(a)
contravenes or fails to comply with a provision of this Division; or
(b)
fails to comply with a covenant contained or deemed to be contained in any deed that is or at any time has been an approved deed,shall be guilty of an offence under this Act and shall be liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding twelve months or to a fine not exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars.[Aust.s. 86.]
(2)
A person shall not be relieved from any liability to any holder of an interest by reason of any contravention of, or failure to comply with, a provision of this Division.
