Clause 1

Short title, commencement and application

This Act may be cited as the Inheritance (Family Provision) Act, 1966, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.(2) This Act shall not apply to the estates of deceased Muslims.
