Amendment of section 4

Section 4 of the Ordinance is hereby amended —

(a)

by inserting immediately after the word “Chairman” appearing in the first line of subsection (1) thereof the expression “, a Deputy Chairman”;

(b)

by inserting immediately after the word “Chairman” appearing in the first line of subsection (3) thereof the words “or in his absence the Deputy Chairman”;

(c)

by inserting immediately after the word “Chairman” appearing in the first line of subsection (4) thereof the words “or Deputy Chairman”; and

(d)

by deleting subsection (5) thereof and substituting therefor the following: —“(5) The Trustees of the Board shall hold office for a period of three years from the date of their respective appointments or for such lesser period as the Minister may think fit and shall be eligible for re-appointment on completion of that period.”.
