Owner to retain possession of goods re-possessed for fourteen days
Where an owner has taken possession of any goods he shall not, without the written consent of the hirer, sell or dispose of the goods or part with possession thereof until after the expiration of fourteen days after the date of the service on the hirer of the notice referred to in subsection (3) of section 15 of this Act or, if notice under paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section 17 of this Act has been given, until the time for payment or tender pursuant to that notice has expired, whichever is the later.
