Clause 21

Any owner or occupier of any premises, on whom any order made under section 9 of this Act has been served who refuses, fails or neglects to comply with any of the terms thereof shall be guilty of an offence under this Act and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to both such fine and imprisonment, and to a further fine not exceeding one hundred dollars for every day during which the offence is continued after conviction.

No owner or occupier shall be punishable under this section for neglect to comply with any order in respect whereof he has appealed as provided in section 17 of this Act unless such order has been confirmed on appeal.
