Clause 3

There shall be established in accordance with the provisions of this Act a body to be called the “Jurong Town Corporation”.

The Corporation when established shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal with power, subject to the provisions of this Act, to acquire, hold or dispose of property, both movable and immovable, to enter into contracts, to sue and be sued in its corporate name and to perform such other acts as bodies corporate may by law perform.
