Clause 2

Amendment of section 5

Section 5 of the Economic Development Board Ordinance, 1961, is hereby amended —

(a)

by inserting at the end of paragraph (b) of subsection (1) thereof the word “and”;

(b)

by deleting paragraphs (c) and (d) of subsection (1) thereof and substituting therefor the following: —“(c)six other members to be appointed by the Minister.”; and

(c)

by deleting the expression “paragraph (d)” appearing in the second line of subsection (4) thereof and substituting therefor the expression “paragraph (c)”.
