Clause 4

Constitution of Supreme Court

(1)

The Supreme Court shall consist of the Chief Justice and the Judges of the Supreme Court.

(2)

The Chief Justice shall be the President of the Supreme Court.

(3)

The Judges of the Supreme Court shall rank, and those in office at the date of the coming into operation of this Act shall continue to rank, among themselves according to the priority of their respective appointments as such Judges.

(4)

The Supreme Court shall be deemed to be duly constituted during and notwithstanding any vacancy in the office of any Judge thereof or the absence of any Judge.
