Clause 16

Amendment of section 75

Section 75 of the principal Act is hereby amended —

(a)

by renumbering the existing section as subsection (1); and

(b)

by inserting immediately after subsection (1) thereof the following new subsection: —“(2) For the purposes of subsection (1) of this section, a public drain shall include a drain common to, or serving more than, one house or building.”.
