Clause 25

The Director may appoint so many other officers as he may think fit for the purpose of carrying out all or any of the powers conferred on the Director by or under this Act.

Every officer so appointed by the Director may go on board any ship at any time and inspect the same or any part thereof, or any of the machinery, equipment or articles on board thereof to which the provisions of this Act or any of the regulations made thereunder apply.
