Clause 23

Penalty

(1)

Any person who —

(a)

fails to comply with any provisions of this Act; or

(b)

fails to comply with any condition subject to which any permission is granted by the Director,shall be guilty of an offence under this Act.

(2)

Any person guilty of an offence under this Act shall where no other penalty is expressly provided be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars and in the case of a continuing offence, a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars for each day during which the offence continues.
