Clause 3

Establishment of Sentosa Development Corporation

(1)

For the purposes of this Act, there shall be established a corporation to be known as the Sentosa Development Corporation.

(2)

The Corporation shall consist of a Chairman, a Deputy Chairman and such number of other members as the Minister may from time to time determine:Provided that the total number of members shall not be less than eight nor more than fifteen.

(3)

The Corporation shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, and shall be capable of acquiring, holding and disposing of immovable and movable property, of suing and being sued and of doing and suffering all such acts and things as bodies corporate may lawfully do and suffer.

(4)

The members of the Corporation shall be appointed by the Minister, who shall also appoint the Chairman and Deputy Chairman from amongst its members.
