Clause 23

Rules

(1)

The Minister may, after consulting with the Corporation, make such rules as he may consider necessary or expedient for giving full effect to the provisions of this Act and for the due administration thereof including without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, rules for or with respect to —

(a)

the convening of meetings of the Corporation and the procedure to be followed thereat;

(b)

the custody and use of the common seal of the Corporation;

(c)

the manner in which documents and instruments of any description shall be signed or executed on behalf of the Corporation;

(d)

the arms and ammunition to be carried and uniforms to be worn by officers and employees of the Corporation;

(e)

schemes of training for officers and employees of the Corporation;

(f)

appointments and promotions of officers and employees of the Corporation and their discipline and punishment;

(g)

the exercise by the Corporation of its powers under the provisions of this Act.

(2)

All rules made under this Act shall be published in the Gazette and shall be presented to Parliament as soon as may be after publication.
