Clause 2

Paragraph (d) of section 6 of the Pensions Act is hereby amended by deleting sub-paragraph (i) thereof and substituting therefor the following: —“(i)a member of any of the funds mentioned in Part I of the Second Schedule to this Act, except upon the condition that there shall be first paid to the Government the total amount paid by the Government and any of the authorities mentioned in Part II of the said Schedule to any of the said funds excluding the amount paid on account of the officer if he is on the pensionable establishment with respect to such service or an equivalent amount if he is not on the pensionable establishment with respect to such service, together with the interest, if any, thereon; or”.
