Amendment of section 61
Section 61 of the principal Act is hereby amended —
(a)
by deleting subsection (3) thereof and substituting therefor the following: —“(3) If the Authority gives to the Port Master a notice stating that an amount therein specified is due in respect of dues, rates or penalties chargeable under this Act or any regulations made thereunder against the vessel or the owner, agent or master of the vessel, the Port Master shall not grant port clearance until the amount so chargeable has been paid or security has been given to the satisfaction of the Authority for the amount thereof.”; and
(b)
by deleting subsection (4) thereof.
