Clause 20

The principal Act is hereby amended by inserting immediately after section 34 thereof the following new section: —“Tax may be paid by instalments34A. The Comptroller may in his discretion permit any tax payable in respect of any property under the provisions of this Act to be paid by way of instalments and may in his discretion charge interest at a rate which shall not exceed ten per cent per annum.”.
