Clause 35

Interference with official marks

Any person who without authority opens, alters, breaks, removes or erases any mark, fastening or seal placed by any officer in pursuance of this Act upon any food or appliance or upon any package, place, door or opening containing or affording access to any food or appliance, shall be guilty of an offence under this Act and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars.
