Clause 4
Application for a licence
(1)
An application for a licence shall be made to the Association in the prescribed form and manner and shall be accompanied by the prescribed fee.
(2)
The Association may require an applicant to supply the Association with such further information as the Association considers necessary in relation to the applicant.
(3)
The Association shall grant a licence if after consideration of —
the character and financial position of the applicant or, if the applicant is a corporation, the character of the directors and the secretary of the corporation and of the corporation’s financial position; and
the interests of the public,the Association is of the opinion that the applicant is a fit and proper person to hold the licence applied for.
(4)
Any person who is aggrieved by the decision of the Association in refusing to grant a licence may appeal to the Minister whose decision thereon will be final.
