Amendment of section 169

Section 169 of the Companies Act is hereby amended —

(a)

by inserting immediately after the word “year” appearing at the end of subsection (5) thereof the words “and if the company is a holding company also a report with respect to the state of affairs of the holding company and all its subsidiaries”;

(b)

by deleting the expression “; and” appearing at the end of paragraph (b) of subsection (12) thereof and substituting therefor a full-stop;

(c)

by deleting paragraph (c) of subsection (12) thereof;

(d)

by deleting the expression “(8)” appearing in the first line of subsection (13) thereof and substituting therefor the expression “(11)”; and

(e)

by deleting the expression “(14)” appearing in the sixth line of subsection (18) thereof and substituting therefor the expression “(17)”.
