Powers of confiscation
(1)
Where a person is convicted of an offence, the Court shall order the confiscation of any petroleum in respect of which the offence has been committed which has been seized by or has otherwise come into the possession of any person authorised to arrest any person committing an offence.
(2)
The petroleum shall be disposed of in such manner as the Court may direct and any moneys realised from the sale of the confiscated article shall be paid into the Consolidated Fund.
