Use of the “Red Cross”
(1)
No person other than the Society and any person so authorised by the Minister shall use —
(a)
the heraldic emblem of the red cross on a white ground formed by reversing the Federal Colours of Switzerland; or
(b)
the words “Red Cross” or “Geneva Cross”.
(2)
Any person contravening the provisions of subsection (1) of this section shall be guilty of an offence under this Act and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
