Clause 2

Amendment of section 6

Subsection (3) of section 6 of the Singapore Council of Social Service Act (hereinafter in this Act referred to as “the principal Act”) is hereby amended —

(a)

by inserting at the end of paragraph (a) thereof the word “and”;

(b)

by deleting paragraph (b) thereof and substituting therefor the following: —“(b)organizations or bodies engaged in any form of social, welfare, community or humanitarian work or service.”; and

(c)

by deleting paragraph (c) thereof.
