Clause 40
Application of this Act
Where a person would, but for this section, be liable to a penalty for not being the holder of an instructor’s certificate or for not being registered as a trainee under this Act, he shall not be so liable —
(a)
until the expiration of the period of three months next succeeding the date of commencement of this Act; or
(b)
where, before the expiration of that period, he applies for such certificate or registration, until —
(i)
he is issued with such certificate or is so registered; or
(ii)
his application is finally refused.
