Transitional provisions
(1)
Notwithstanding anything in this Act, any association, club, society, company or firm which immediately before the date of commencement of this Act was a martial art association and is not disqualified from being registered under this Act if an application was made in respect thereof, may continue to be the same without being so registered —
until the expiration of a period of three months from the date of commencement of this Act; or
if before the expiration of that period the association applies for such registration, until the registration is effected or finally refused or the application withdrawn.
(2)
Notwithstanding the provisions of section 30 an instructor who immediately before the date of commencement of this Act was instructing a trainee, who is not registered under this Act, in any form of martial art shall, three months after the date of commencement of this Act, cease to provide such instruction unless such trainee is so registered.
