Clause 4

For the purposes of this Part, the authority responsible for the grant, renewal, variation, suspension and revocation of licences and certificates shall be the Director of Medical Services.

Any function conferred on the licensing authority by or under this Act may be performed by such officers as the licensing authority may designate, subject to his general direction and control.

Any person to whom a licensing authority refuses to grant, renew or vary a licence or whose licence has been suspended or revoked may appeal to the Minister whose decision thereon shall be final.
