Power to compound
(1)
The Commissioner may compound any offence committed under this Act or any rules made thereunder by accepting a sum not exceeding two hundred dollars from the person who is suspected of having committed the offence.
(2)
On payment of such sum of money, no further proceedings shall be taken against such person in respect of that offence.
