Amendment of section 31

Section 31 of the Moneylenders Act is hereby amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “five hundred” appearing in the seventh line thereof and substituting therefor the words “two thousand”; and

(b)

by deleting the word “one” appearing in the tenth line thereof and substituting therefor the word “five”.
