Clause 17

Sewer may be emptied into the sea

The Director may cause any sewer to be emptied into the sea or other fit place, or may cause the sludge from them to be conveyed by a proper channel to the most convenient site for its deposit, and may sell or otherwise dispose of the sludge for any agricultural or other purposes as are deemed most expedient but so that it shall not become a nuisance.
