Amendment of section 18
Section 18 of the principal Act is hereby amended —
by inserting immediately after the word “the” appearing in the third, in the fourth and in the fifth lines of subsection (3) thereof in each case the word “management”;
by inserting immediately after subsection (4) thereof the following new subsections: —“(5) If the management corporation makes default in complying with any requirements of, or duties imposed upon it by, any of the provisions of the First Schedule to this Act the management corporation and every member of his Council, or every subsidiary proprietor, who is knowingly a party to the breach or default, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars.(6) Any member of the management council and any subsidiary proprietor who makes default in complying with any of the provisions of the First Schedule to this Act or makes default in complying with any requirements of, or duties imposed upon it by, any of the provisions of the First Schedule to this Act shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars.”; and
by renumbering the existing subsection (5) thereof as subsection (7).
