Amendment of section 8
Section 8 of the Singapore Sports Council Act, 1973 (hereinafter in this Act referred to as “the principal Act”) is hereby amended —
(a)
by inserting immediately after paragraph (h) thereof the following paragraph: —“(i)to establish any clubs for the promotion of sports and to manage and maintain them;”; and
(b)
by re-lettering the existing paragraph (i) and (j) thereof as paragraphs (j) and (k) respectively.
