Clause 2

Amendment of section 3

Section 3 of the University of Singapore Act (hereinafter in this Act referred to as the “principal Act”) is hereby amended —

(a)

by renumbering the section as subsection (1); and

(b)

by adding thereto the following subsection: —“(2) The Minister may, on the advice of the Council of the University, amend the Constitution by order published in the Gazette.”.
