Clause 5

Interim provision for the retention of the Union fees by University

(1)

It shall be lawful for the University of Singapore to retain all moneys in its possession collected for the benefit of the University of Singapore Students’ Union before the commencement of this Act.

(2)

The Council of the University of Singapore may make grants out of such moneys to the University of Singapore Students’ Union of such amounts as the Council thinks fit for any purpose which may be approved by the Council.
