Sale of goods in metric units
(1)
Subject to the provisions of this Part, in the case of goods which are not required by this Act to be sold in particular quantities, any person who sells or offers to sell such goods shall, if so required by a purchaser, sell or offer to sell the same in quantities expressed in metric units.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence.
(3)
Subsection (1) shall not apply to the sale of pre-packed goods or goods made up in or on a container for sale.
