1. The following units of measurement:
the AMPERE (as the unit of measurement of electrical current);
the OHM (as the unit of measurement of electrical resistence);
the VOLT (as the unit of measurement of difference of electrical potential); and
the WATT (as the unit of measurement of electrical power),shall have the meanings from time to time respectively assigned by order of the Minister, being the meanings appearing to the Minister to reproduce in English the international definition of the ampere, ohm, volt or watt, as the case may be, in force at the date of the making of the order.
