Importation of agents and vectors of diseases
(1)
No person shall import or bring or cause to be imported or brought into Singapore any disease-causing organism or any vectors capable of transmitting a disease without first obtaining the written permission of the Commissioner.
(2)
Any person who contravenes the provision of subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both such fine and imprisonment.
