Clause 56

Default in compliance with notice

Where any notice served in accordance with section 55 requires any act to be done or work to be executed by the owner or the occupier or the person in charge of any premises or vessel and there is default in complying with the requirement of such notice, the person in default shall, where no fine is specially provided for such default, be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars.
