Repeal and re-enactment of section 6
Section 6 of the Singapore Red Cross Society (Incorporation) Act, 1973 (hereinafter in this Act referred to as “the principal Act”) is hereby repealed and the following substituted therefor: —“Patron and President of Society6.—
(1)
The President of Singapore shall be the Patron of the Society.(2) The President of the Society shall be appointed by the President of Singapore on such terms and conditions as the President of Singapore thinks fit.”.
