Clause 4

Subsection (1) of section 22 of the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting immediately after the expression “section 114 of the Singapore Armed Forces Act, 1972,” appearing therein the expression “or unless such person is called up for full-time service and is employed only for an agreed definite or certain period of time,”.
