Clause 24

by deleting the full-stop appearing at the end of paragraph (j) of subsection (1) thereof and substituting therefor a semi-colon and by inserting immediately thereafter the following new paragraphs: —“(k)to take into custody any article in the factory which is required for the purpose of an investigation or inquiry under this Act and to release the same as soon as may be practicable after it has been examined and tested;

to require any person whom he finds in the factory to produce his identity card for inspection for the purpose of an investigation or inquiry under this Act.”; and

by inserting immediately after the word “servants” appearing in the first line of subsection (2) thereof the words “and any person who is found in a factory”.
