Amendment of section 24
Section 24 of the principal Act is hereby amended —
(a)
by renumbering the existing section as subsection (1);
(b)
by inserting immediately after subsection (1) thereof the following new subsection: —“(2) The machinery and plant shall be properly maintained in order to prevent any breakdown which is likely to cause death or bodily injury to any person.”; and
(c)
by deleting the words “of fencing” appearing in the marginal note thereto.
