Inquiry by Registrar
(1)
The Registrar may, on his own motion, and shall, on the application of a majority of the committee of management or of one-third of the members or five hundred members of a society, whichever is the less, hold an inquiry or direct any person authorised by him by order in writing on his behalf to hold an inquiry into the constitution, working and financial condition of a society; and all officers, employees and members of the society shall produce such books, accounts, papers and securities of the society and shall furnish such information in regard to the affairs of the society as the Registrar or the person authorised by him may require.

The Registrar shall communicate the results of such inquiry to the society into whose affairs the inquiry has been made.
