Clause 6

Restriction on use of certain titles

(1)

No person shall, unless his name is registered, take or use the name or title of pharmaceutical chemist or pharmaceutist or druggist or chemist and druggist or pharmacist or apothecary or any other word in another language having the same meaning or being to the like intent, or take or use in connection with the sale of goods by retail the name or title of dispensing chemist or any other name, title, emblem or description implying that his name or the name of any person employed by him is registered or that he or such other person is entitled to be registered.

(2)

A person who acts in contravention of the provisions of subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars and to a further fine of one hundred dollars for every day during which the offence is continued after conviction.
